Grieving process

What is art therapy grief counseling?
Grief is like love itself. It is deep and endless. It is full of pain and full of love. It means brokenness, powerlessness, hope, the feeling of being alone, remembering, laughing, crying, being lost and everything in between. Grief needs space and time.
In moments of loss, we often feel overwhelmed – by the waves of emotions, the powerlessness and the emptiness. When words are no longer enough, art therapy offers a safe framework in which pain, loss and love can become visible and tangible.
Art therapy provides children, adolescents and adults with a safe framework in which they can deal with these feelings. It is not about art in the conventional sense or about creating something “beautiful”, but about expressing inner tensions, thoughts and feelings with the material of their choice.
Whether you have just lost a loved one or are in a phase of farewell: I will accompany you gently through your process. In my studio, you can express your feelings and thoughts at your own pace using colors, shapes and materials.
