When was the last time you consciously put your cell phone aside and devoted yourself to what is going on inside you?
In this workshop, we will take time to explore the influence of the media world on our thoughts, feelings and actions. What images, information and impressions do we encounter on a daily basis? What touches, overwhelms or inspires us – and how can we respond to these experiences in a creative way?
After a short mindfulness exercise, we open up a protected space for artistic creation. A variety of materials are available:
– collage material to recombine images and shift meanings,
– ink and acrylic paints to work spontaneously and expressively, and
– pastel crayons, colored pencils and graphite to create differentiated and multi-layered designs.
The focus is not on learning specific techniques, but on personal experience and individual expression.
The workshop is aimed at all interested parties – no previous knowledge is required.
